The Ottawa Fertility Centre's Ultrasound unit is exclusively dedicated to fertility-related imaging, providing superior expertise for our patients. Located within the Ottawa Fertility Centre, we offer the convenience of complete imaging services from diagnosis, through treatment, and confirmation of pregnancy.

Our services include :

Baseline pelvic ultrasound

A complete scan of the pelvis including uterus, cervix, ovaries and antral follicle count.

Saline infusion ultrasound (Hysterosonogram)

An ultrasound test where fluid is passed through a small catheter or tube placed in the cervix to check the lining of the uterus.

Tubal patency ultrasound (Hysterosonogram)

An ultrasound test where fluid is passed through a small catheter or tube placed in the cervix to check if the fallopian tubes are open.

Follicle tracking

An ultrasound test to measure the size and number of growing egg follicle(s) and the thickness of the endometrium.

Early obstetrical ultrasound

A complete scan of the early pregnancy (<10 weeks).
