Dr. Tannys Vause

Dr. Tannys Vause completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees at the University of Manitoba. She then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2008. She completed a two year subspecialty fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Ottawa in 2010.

Dr. Vause is currently an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa, an attending physician at the Ottawa Hospital and a consultant physician at the Ottawa Fertility Centre. She is also certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound.

Dr. Vause received the Wyeth Award for Excellence in Clinical Research in 2006 from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta. She is also currently an active member of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Committee of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada. Her interests include fertility preservation and education.
