Manager, Clinical and Nursing Services

Danielle Dubois (Manager, Nursing and Clinical Services) joined the Ottawa Fertility Centre in 2011. Danielle completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Queen's University, receiving the AJ Baumgart Outstanding Achievement Award. She began her nursing career in Edmonton, working at the University Hospital, the Birth Control Centre and the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). While with SART, she received the Alberta Health Regional Reach Award in Teamwork.

Danielle comes with a vast working knowledge of Fertility and Endocrinology, as she spent her last 5 years working at the Edmonton Fertility and Women's Endocrine Clinic. She assumed the Edmonton IVF/Clinic Coordinator role in 2008, developing and establishing the new IVF portion of the clinic; as well as receiving the advanced practice SMART ART X Community Outreach Award. She was an invited poster presenter to Orlando, Florida for her achievements in the success of Edmonton's IVF program. Her Coordinator role also involved staff management, policy & procedure development, drafting of consent forms, resource organization, and creating patient teaching materials.

Danielle's professional affiliations are with Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, College of Nurses of Ontario, and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, with affiliation to the Nursing Research Interest Group and Nursing Leadership Network of Ontario. She is also pursuing her Masters of Health Studies through Athabasca University, currently taking graduate level leadership courses and expecting program admittance next fall.
