Dr. Jason Min

Dr. Jason Min completed his undergraduate training at the University of Calgary, receiving Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with Distinction, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta. During his residency, he undertook elective training at the Reproductive Biology Unit of Monash University in Victoria, Australia. Having completed his two year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Ottawa, he joined the Ottawa Fertility Centre in 2006.

Dr. Min is currently an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa, an attending physician at the Ottawa Hospital and a consultant at the Ottawa Fertility Centre. He is certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is also certified in obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. He is a member of the Advisory Council of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, the CFAS/SOGC/AHRC tripartite committee on clinical practice guideline development and the Canadian Multiple Births Steering Committee. He has served as a member of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Committee of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada from 2004-2006. He is also a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Dr. Min has received Teacher of the Year awards in 2003 and 2004 from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Alberta, the Wyeth Pharmaceutical and Peter Mitchell awards for excellence in research in 2003, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists award for special excellence in endoscopic procedures in 2004. He has been an invited speaker at both national and international meetings and conferences. He continues to provide regular seminars and workshops on infertility to family physicians and gynaecologists in Ottawa and across Canada.

Dr. Min's practice includes all areas of reproductive care, with particular interest in in vitro fertilization, male infertility, minimally invasive surgery, tubal microsurgery and quality assurance in assisted reproduction.
