Mark Evans
Mark Evans completed undergraduate degrees in Literature and Education at McGill University. He then earned a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Ottawa and in April 2006, and joined the Ottawa Fertility Centre as its general manager.
Prior to joining the Ottawa Fertility Centre, Mr. Evans spent the last 10 years developing a career in human resources management. He began his career as a consultant for William M. Mercer in China where he helped international firms implement effective compensation, benefits, and performance management systems. He has held positions at Treasury Board Secretariat as a communications consultant, at Nortel Networks and at the City of Ottawa where he continued to work in the area of human resources and employee compensation.
Since April 2006, Mr. Evans has led the Ottawa Fertility Centre through a period of rapid growth and change as the Centre moved to a new facility where it now offers comprehensive care to patients in one location. Mr. Evans is an active member of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) where he holds the position of Secretary Treasurer of the Administrative Special Interest Group.
